Presentation Types

  • Oral presentation

  • Poster presentation

Presentation Category

  • The seminar will present papers covering sport psychology, exercise psychology, performance psychology, motor learning, and control. Expert scholars in these respective categories have been invited to conduct peer reviews.

  • The seminar welcomes diverse research types, including empirical research, narrative reviews, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and research proposals.

 

Presentation Template

  • The seminar offers 5 types of paper presentation templates: "Keynote Speech," "Invited Speech," "Oral Presentation," "Poster Presentation," and "Innovative Academic Conference." 

    • The speaker of the "Keynote Speech" and "Invited Speech" will be invited by the organizers of this seminar. 

    • General scholars, experts, and students can choose to present in the types of "Oral Presentation," "Poster Presentation," or "Innovative Academic Conference," and specify the preferred presentation type when submitting the papers. 

  • The following are the types of the paper presentation template:

    • Keynote Speech:

      • This seminar intends to unite renowned scholars and experts in sport psychology, exercise psychology, performance psychology, and motor learning and control, from different parts of the world. They will be asked to deliver keynote speeches, sharing their latest research findings and insights with the audience.

      • Attendees will have a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the latest research trends in sport psychology, exercise psychology, performance psychology, and motor learning and control and listen to speeches from world-class experts.

      • Each speaker will have 30 minutes for the oral presentation, including a 25-minute presentation and a 5-minute Q&A.

    • Invited Speech:

      • Specialized experts and scholars in the categories of sport psychology, exercise psychology, performance psychology, and motor learning and control will be invited to speak on specific topics at the forum.

      • Each speaker will have 20 minutes for the oral presentation, including a 15-minute presentation and a 5-minute Q&A.

    • Oral Presentation:

      • Each author can apply for "one" oral presentation as the first author.

      • Each author will have 10 minutes for the oral presentation, including an 8-minute presentation and a 2-minute Q&A.

    • Poster Presentation:

      • Each author can apply for "up to two" poster presentations as the first author.

      • Poster presentations involve presenting research in a poster template, and participants can view the posters and interact with the authors in a designated area at the seminar venue during specific times.

    • Innovative Academic Conference:

      • Authors can choose to present research published in academic journals, both domestically and internationally, within the "past three years" in oral or poster presentation types (The abstract must be present originally and indicate the reference of the original article).

Oral presentation guideline

  • Presenters should upload their presentation to the computer via USB flash drive in the designated lecture room at least 15 minutes before their session.

  • The lecture room is equipped with Windows 10 and MS Office (including PowerPoint).

  • Using web-based platforms (such as Google Presentations) for presentations is NOT recommended.

  • The use of personal laptops for presentations is NOT allowed.

Poster presentation guideline

  • Poster presenters should print their posters in advance, given that the ISSEP 2024 conference will NOT provide printing services.

  • Ensure that your poster conforms to the specified maximum dimensions for vertical presentation: 90 cm (width) x 120 cm (height).

  • Please consider organizing your poster designs by incorporating the suggested headings: 

    • Title

    • Authors (including affiliations)

    • Abstract

    • Introduction or review of the literature

    • Method (including participants, measures, procedure)

    • Results (visual displays such as graphs  and charts are good)

    • Conclusion

  • Poster Presentation 1: 

    • Set-up: 1/23, 15:00 ~ 1/24, 12:00

    • Poster session: 1/24, 14:30 ~ 1/24, 15:30

    • Removal: 1/24, 16:00 ~ 1/24, 18:00

  • Poster Presentation 2:

    • Set-up: 1/25, 09:00 ~ 1/26 08:00

    • Poster session: 1/26, 09:00 ~ 10:00

    • Removal: 1/26, 10:00 ~12:00

  • At least one author must remain by the poster board for the assigned time for the poster session.​
